What will the next Express Entry draw be?

Express Entry is the most popular immigration pathway for Canadian Permanent Residence. It is a points-based system, where points are awarded to candidates in various categories, and only candidates who score above a required minimum will be provided with an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence.


The Canadian government has an Express Entry draw approximately once every two weeks. The last draw was on August 3, 2022, meaning that the next Express Entry draw is expected to take place on August 17, 2022.


What Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) Score is Required to receive an ITA?


Though it is impossible to say with any certainty what the CRS score cutoff will be for the next Express Entry draw, you can get an idea of what you will need to aim for by looking at previous Express Entry draw results.

Based on the CRS score distribution and the number of candidates who have been drawn from the pool in the last 3 Express Entry rounds, we can anticipate that individuals with a CRS score of 501 and above are more likely to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
