The first step to getting your questions answered and building a plan that will work best for you is to book the initial consultation.
The consultation will take place over the phone, Zoom, or WhatsApp. Once you have booked your consultation, you will be sent an email within 24 hours providing you with all the information.

I discuss your immigration goals, review any documents you have, and determine how best I can assist you. We will work together to create a game plan on how to move forward, and discuss pricing and timelines.

Do you need a document notarized? Quick and affordable, you can have your document notarized in person or online.

What happens if I need more than 30 minutes?
If you need a little more time, that's okay! I want you to feel free to ask your questions without any pressure. When choosing a lawyer, it must be the right fit. So while the time given are an approximation of how long it takes to do a typical consultation, if you go over the allotted time, as long as it's reasonable, there are no issues.
I only have 1 question that I think can be answered in less than 30 minutes. Do I still need to book a consult?
Not all questions can be answered with a simple "yes" or "no". The answer will usually depend on the unique circumstances of your case, so I would always recommend booking a consultation. However, you are more than welcome to send me an email at kristina@kvalaw.ca or a message on the form with a quick question and I will see what I can do.
What is the cancellation policy?
For a full refund of your consultation fee, you must provide notice by emailing kristina@kvalaw.ca a minimum of 3 hours before your consultation. Failure to provide notice will result in a forfeiture of your consultation fee.

Should an emergency arise and you are unable to attend, please email kristina@kvalaw.ca as soon as possible to reschedule.
What are your fees?
Excluding government fees and any disbursements, I will charge a minimum of $900 Canadian for an application. The total price depends on the type of application required and the amount of complexity of your case. Fees are subject to change.
That's expensive! Do you offer any price reductions?
If you are unable to pay the fees and would require a fee reduction or a payment plan, please let me know during the consultation, and I will try my best to work with you to come to an arrangement that works best for both of us.
Can you find me a job in Canada?
No, I cannot find a job for you in Canada. You will have to do this on your own.
Do you accept Legal Aid tickets?
Unfortunately, no. Not at this time.
